The silicone gel sheet dressings are non-active, non-invasive, single-use, non-sterile and selfadhesive devices consisting of a PU film coated with a medical grade silicone gel adhesive and a protective transparent film. They are intended for the aid in treatment of unaesthetic or excessive fresh scars or those aged less than one year and for the aid in prevention of excessive scar formation such as hypertrophic scars and keloids in people prone to scarring. The dressings protect scars from UV radiation (50+). The products are intended for use by lay persons.
